Whether its art is one question, whether its good is another. I don't think that its an amazing photo but I like looking at it. I just think its great that there was a discussion about it and that it wasn't aggressive. Both positive and negative comments should be welcome. That's all
This is most definitely art. It celebrates the femininity and physical form of this particular model, and given the photographer's entire body of work, it is definitely a fine compliment to his overall artistic vision (and he clearly has one). This photo is very daring and edgy, but so are most of the other images on this profile.
Kudos to both the photographer and the model for creating such a bold piece of work and presenting it to the public at large.
I see a heart wrapped with a red ribbon.. Art is subjective and it applies to this and your art as well Broken! But who are we to say you've failed to represent what you claim is your profession? So with that in mind perhaps you should practice representing the groups you are a member of.. such as #GetWatchers and their motto! Don't hate relate!
I don't hate anyone, dude. I see a pussy in this photo and I have already explained why I think it's not art and what kind of people are artists even if they shoot nudes; the problem is not the nudity, do not misunderst me. The problem is that one have to SHOW SOMETHING particular, interesting or special in a photo that contains nudity - or it will be only a vulgar shot, a body exsposed and nothing else. Like in this case.
No dudette! Don't be hippocrate.. after all you have favored a picture of another photographer which is much like this one called "boots" or something along those lines under your collections of "the female!" which is the same body part(pussy) except I bet you like the boots! And to top it off you like BDSM and fetish which to some is porn with a psychotic twist and for a large majority right down disturbing! But you like it and to you it is the essence that you identify with and to me that's just great. Anyhow once again I say,we can do without fellow artists and their overbearing ideal moral compasses ruining our expressive freedom on this wonderful site! If you ain't got anything that champions that experience we enjoy on here then be silent!
I don't think is appropriate to discuss again. Not because I do not want to do, but 'cause it is evident that we have very different points of view; probably you will not convince me to change my mind, and probabily I will not convince you to change yours. So... Thanks anyway for telling your opinion
What is evident is that you have no respect for the work of others and are pompus and rude! Who made you the DA gallery director of art? I'm not here to change your mind I'm here to put you in your place! But yeah "RUN FORREST RUN!"
Looking back at your statement you say, "The problem is that one have to SHOW SOMETHING particular, interesting or special in a photo that contains nudity" In the picture [link] I see a pussy and one item of clothing just like this one! So what's the problem? You didn't like the item of clothing? Not your style? I bet the boots gave you a smile! There is no "PROBLEM" except what you conjure up in your mind silly Goth!
I love the fact that Aux, after answering:Is this art?, with: Does it have to be?, just sat back and listened to everyone bitch about what art really is, and wheather or not this particular photo should be classified as such. I personally believe that this is art, and it is quite beautiful, but for everyone to still debate over this specific picture after he asks if it has to be art, is just amusing. Sorry. I totally understand what you saying though...except for klienkat, there a little bitch. BAM! and im done. love u all.
I agree that this is art. It shows power and sensitivity in the same moment. The tenderness of her panties still held within her gorgeous purple lips is very artistic. You can almost see the soon to be moment when they pull free of her. A moment in time (which is what art captures).
mmmm looks like candy, and makes me want to buy the panties ^^ nice angle and yes, this is Art. Women have been using their bodies for the sake of "art" for years. The female body is nothing but walking art and you portrayed this beautifully! Power to punanies like this one everywhere.
